Ski
Breckenridge
More than 2,000 acres
of prime alpine terrain stretching over four
huge separate and diverse
mountains. No doubt about it. The skiing
and boarding on the slopes of Breckenridge
are incredible! But it's the town, with its
distinctive quality of life - that ultimately
exerts an overwhelming appeal for everyone
who comes here. The colorful Gold Rush heritage.
The quaint Victorian architecture. The breathtakingly
incomparable alpine setting. The genuine
warmth and contagious enthusiasm of the townsfolk.
Breckenridge is hard to resist.
Ski Vail & Beaver Creek
Vail and Beaver Creek are just 30 - 45 minutes
from Breckenridge. Since Vail Resorts now
owns Breckenridge ski resort, you can often
get a combination pass good for one day
of skiing in either Vail or Beaver Creek.
I recommend you take Vail Resorts up on
its offer. Breck has the absolute best
ski town atmosphere and night life, but
the terrain at Vail and Beaver Creek are
hard to beat. Why choose? Enjoy them all!
Ski Keystone, Copper Mountain & Arapahoe
Basin
Three other resorts lie within a 20-minute
drive of Breckenridge: Arapahoe Basin , Keystone,
and Copper. Your day and multi-day Breck
lift tickets are also good at both Keystone
and Arapahoe Basin. Ski Breck during the
day and try night skiing at Keystone that
evening! Summit County offers a free transit
system to provide easy access to and from
all Summit County Ski resorts. |
